radial_elliptical_aperture

petrofit.photometry.radial_elliptical_aperture(position, r, elong=1.0, theta=0.0)

Helper function given a radius, elongation and theta, will make an elliptical aperture.

Parameters:

positiontuple

(x, y) coords for center of aperture.

rint or float

Semi-major radius of the aperture.

elongfloat

Elongation.

thetafloat

Orientation in rad.

Returns:
